This course is geared towards advanced students of English who are interested in developing their speaking and writing at a high level. We spend class time exploring complex subjects and thus expanding our vocabulary. Activities include discussing and debating current events and reading longer news articles. There will also be weekly written assignments. In this class there is little focus on grammar. Instead, we work on improving the verbal fluency and learning the nuances of the English language.
