It is now possible to take the PLIDA exam in Aarhus at FOF Aarhus, which is an official PLIDA Certification Centre.
The centre allows you to register for PLIDA certification exams and attend dedicated preparation courses designed to help you succeed in the exam.
The PLIDA certificate officially documents your proficiency in Italian as a foreign language and is recognised internationally.
The certification is relevant for students, professionals, anyone with an interest in the Italian language, and those who wish to obtain official proof of their Italian language skills. It can be used for educational purposes, university admission, employment and, where required under Italian law, applications for long-term residence in Italy.
PLIDA exams are available at six CEFR levels:
A1 – Breakthrough
A2 – Waystage
B1 – Threshold
B2 – Vantage
C1 – Effective Operational Proficiency
C2 – Mastery
Each level assesses four language skills:
Listening
Reading
Writing
Speaking
Each skill is marked out of 30 points. To obtain the certificate, candidates must achieve at least 18 out of 30 in each of the four skills.
