You are a beginner in the Danish language. Perhaps you've been here for a while and have grasped some basic words and phrases on your own. Nonetheless, lacking any formal instruction, you feel hesitant about the Danish language and wish to begin learning the language from scratch.

On this Danish language course in Aarhus, the main focus is on spoken Danish, including the often challenging pronunciation. Written exercises are also part of the course, ensuring a solid understanding and practical use of Danish vocabulary and grammar. Homework is an essential part of the course.

English is used as a helping language during this Danish course in Aarhus, and therefore you have to be comfortable in English. Furthermore, you are expected to have a good grip on general grammar from having learned another foreign language, like German, Spanish, Polish, or any other European language.

As course book we use “På vej til dansk – trin for trin” from the publishing company “Synope” (approx.. kr. 350,-). You can buy the book directly from the teacher via Mobilepay on the first day of the course, or, you can go to our shop in Hans Hartvig Seedorffs stræde 7, where the book will be available 3 days before the course starts.

Expenses for books and materials are not included in the course fee.
