Danish - Summer Course (A1-A2)

Intensive Danish learning in Aarhus

An intensive Danish course for foreigners who want to improve their Danish skills. The course lasts one month, with 2 class days per week. It is a follow-up to the course Danish for Beginners 3 but newcomers are very welcome, too.

The course includes topics from the book På vej mod dansk (On the Way to Danish), as well as review of basic skills.

Focus areas:

• Conversation practice (games, dialogues, vocabulary exercises)

• Short presentations

• Clips from Danish TV series

• Danish songs and more

After the course, you can continue learning Danish in the course Dansk for fortsættere 1 (A2) (Danish for Intermediate Learners 1 (A2), which starts in September.

Language in class

Lessons are mainly in Danish, but English will sometimes be used as a helping language.

Important notes

• This course is not designed to prepare for official Danish language tests, and there is no exam at the end.

Course materials

The cost of materials is not included in the course fee. You will pay the teacher directly (approx. 35 DKK).

Note about levels

The level A1–A2 refers to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which sets European standards for language learning. Read more about CEFR.
