You may know that there are different types of rice used in cuisines around the world, for example, jasmine rice for Thai dishes, basmati rice for Indian cuisine, and round-grain rice for Japanese dishes such as sushi. But did you know that the cooking methods also differ among them?
Rice is the heart of Japanese cuisine and is served at almost every meal. If you’ve always wanted to cook perfectly fluffy rice, now is the perfect time to join this fun food journey with an experienced Japanese instructor in FOF Aarhus!
In this hands-on class, you will learn how to cook Japanese rice using a pot. Once the rice is ready, we will make three types of onigiri (rice balls) with different fillings and side dishes that go perfectly with rice.
Onigiri has become popular worldwide and is an ideal option for a lunch box (bento), so let’s impress your family and friends with your new skills!
