Complete Vocal Technique – Advanced (in English)
Strengthen your vocal technique and refine your artistic expression in a focused advanced course. You’ll work in a small group, receive tailored feedback, and explore the full range of Complete Vocal Technique while performing for and with others.
Take Your Vocal Skills to an Advanced Level
In this course, we will address any technical challenges you may have while focusing on song interpretation. At the advanced level, you are expected to be confident in singing alone, performing, and having a solid technical foundation in Complete Vocal Technique (or another vocal technique).
How is the course taught?
We will cover the full spectrum of Complete Vocal Technique, working on modes, sound color, and effects. Topics such as vocal power, transitions, stamina (to prevent vocal fatigue), vibrato, air control, fast runs, vocal coloring (darker/lighter tones), groove, phrasing, rhythmic precision, improvisation, and storytelling will be addressed based on the students' needs.
There will be 2-3 students per session. Please be prepared to sing in front of other students, as well as observe their sessions.
Please prepare a song (or songs) in any genre (excluding classical), preferably with an existing backtrack (e.g., from YouTube). The course will be taught in English but can be adjusted to Danish if all participants are comfortable with that.
