I’m passionate about giving new life to textiles with a story. Through creative reuse and craftsmanship, I transform discarded materials into unique designs. In my teaching, I encourage you to create with purpose and emotion — using fabrics that speak to you.

Education

I graduated as a Sustainable Clothing Designer from KEA in Copenhagen (2013–2015) and completed a course in Textile Design at Central Saint Martins in London (2010). I also studied at the European Film College in Ebeltoft (2004–2005) and at Crea Image, University Paris (2004).

Other qualifications

I am the founder of Hôtel Vêtements, a French/Danish brand that has worked with sustainable fashion and textile upcycling since 2017. Here, I create unique, handmade designs from repurposed materials — including antique fabrics such as curtains from the Hôtel Ritz in Paris. Previously, I worked for Henrik Vibskov, designing new patterns, prints, and artwork for their collections.

More About Me and My Teaching

I’ve always been driven by the desire to create something new from something existing. Working with used fabrics feels like putting together a puzzle — giving new meaning, value, and life to materials that have already lived a story. I love the creative challenge and the endless possibilities that come with transforming discarded textiles.

In my teaching, I aim to inspire others to explore their own creativity and personal expression. The most important thing is that the materials and the process feel meaningful to you. I always encourage my students to start with fabrics that speak to them — something they feel connected to or inspired by.

I source my own materials through professional resellers of deadstock fabrics, private auctions, and former institutions where textiles carry a story. Each piece becomes a work of art in itself — something made to last and to be passed on to the next generation.
