I studied Ashtanga Yoga in India with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and Vedanta with Swami Dayananda Saraswati.
Alongside my yoga education, I am also a certified personal trainer with an academic background in International Relations. My teaching combines the traditional wisdom of yoga with modern knowledge of anatomy, movement, and healthy ageing.
I have been teaching Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga since 2001 and have worked with students of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
Over the years, I have taught in Brazil, Portugal, Croatia, France, and Denmark, and I ran my own yoga school in Brazil for five years. My daily teaching and personal practice, together with my experience as a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, have given me a deep understanding of movement, body mechanics, and how to help students practise safely and confidently.
My teaching is based on precision, safety, and longevity. I believe yoga should be adapted to the individual—not the other way around. I carefully tailor each class to my students' abilities, helping them build strength, mobility, and body awareness while minimising the risk of injury.
A typical class begins with gentle warm-up exercises to prepare the body, followed by a balanced practice that develops strength, mobility, flexibility, and joint health. Every class ends with guided relaxation, allowing both body and mind to recover so you leave feeling calm, refreshed, and ready for the rest of your day.
My classes welcome students of all ages and experience levels, from those seeking a physically challenging practice to those who simply want to move safely and with greater confidence. I encourage everyone to listen to their body and adapt the practice according to their individual needs, health, and energy level.
Yoga is the most extraordinary physical and mental practice I have ever encountered, and even after more than 25 years of teaching, I still feel a strong responsibility to share it with others. Nothing motivates me more than helping people discover how profoundly yoga can improve their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Teaching in Denmark for the past eleven years has been a truly rewarding experience. I have been fortunate to work with students who bring genuine curiosity, commitment, and consistency to their practice. Their dedication continues to inspire me and reminds me that yoga is most transformative when both teacher and student are fully engaged in the journey together.
“Bruno in a few words: Dedicated and patient, the best yoga teacher showing genuine concern for his students.“
“I have been following Bruno’s yoga teaching for several years now and can confirm that I greatly benefit from his teaching and use many yoga techniques in my daily chores. He is dedicated, patient and exceptionally sharp at seeing what the individual needs as well as challenging to improve. Always with respect for the individual’s ability. The best yoga teacher I’ve had.“
“I feel very fortunate to have had Bruno as a teacher. He is a patient and committed teacher with the knack of knowing when to give just the right instruction or advice; he has really helped me to deepen both my practice and my understanding of yoga. I would highly recommend all his classes whether you are new to yoga or an experienced practitioner.“
“I have been attending yoga classes with Bruno for 3 seasons now and am always happy when I go home. Bruno is inspiring, knowledgeable and very caring in his teaching. I have had many ideas for how difficult positions can be adjusted and thus achieve a better effect.“
