Om Nikolai Robbins

I’m a violinist with a Master’s from the Royal Danish Academy of Music and over 20 years of experience. My teaching focuses on technique, musicality, and the joy of playing in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Education

I hold a Kandidat and Bachelors from the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Violin. I recently graduated in December of 2024, under the study of world renowned pedagogue Eszter Haffner.

Other qualifications

As well as holding a Bachelors and Kandidat in Violin, I have acquired skills and knowledge of Pedagogy, Music History, Composition, Music theory and Music psychology throughout my university studies. Alongside my studies, I have played violin for over 20 years and have played with professional symphonies including Copenhagen Phil, the Faroese Symphony Orchestra and the Tucson Symphony Orchestra.

Teaching experience

Through my Kandidat studies, I have had comprehensive training in solo and group teaching, including curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional methodology with a focus on fostering technical and musical growth in students of varying skill levels, integrating diverse teaching approaches, and utilizing modern pedagogical techniques. Along with this, I have multiple years of hands-on experience teaching group and solo lessons of all levels and ages.
