Mavedans er en både sjov og sveddryppende motionsform fyldt med flotte hoftecirkler, bølgende bevægelser og smukke shimmi-kjoler. At træne mavedans giver god kontakt til alle kropsdele, og du lærer at koordinere og kontrollere din krop på en nænsomt styrkende og spændende måde. Dans er godt for krop og sjæl, og alle kropstyper kan danse med.

I opvarmningen opbygger vi styrke og fleksibilitet, og så træner vi både enkle og avancerede grundtrin. Trinnene bruger vi til at kreere lækre danseserier, som vi danser en masse gange. Vi danser til en masse forskellig musik både fra Mellemøsten, hvor mavedansen har sine rødder, samt til alverdens musik, der bare føles godt at danse til.

Undervisningen foregår enten på dansk eller engelsk eller begge dele afhængig af deltagernes behov.

Belly dance

Belly dance as a form of exercise is both fun, sweat-inducing, and filled with beautiful hip circles, flowing movements, and stunning shimmi dresses. Belly dance training provides great awareness of all parts of your body, and you learn to coordinate and control your body in a gently strengthening and exciting way. Dance is good for both body and soul, and all body types are welcome to join.

In the warm-up, we build strength and flexibility, and then we practice both simple and advanced basic steps. We then use the steps to create cute dance combos, which we dance multiple times. We dance to a variety of music, both from the Middle East, where belly dance has its roots, as well as to music from around the world that simply feels good to dance to.

The instruction is conducted in either Danish or English or both, depending on the participants' needs.
