Learn to bake authentic Italian focaccia and discover how regional traditions create unique flavours and textures. In this hands-on baking course, you will make three iconic focaccias from different parts of Italy and gain practical techniques you can recreate at home.
Focaccia is a traditional Italian leavened bread. Each region, however, has its own version, because even though the ingredients are more or less the same, varying the proportions and method of use gives rise to a wide variety of products.
This course examines some of the most well-known focaccias common throughout the peninsula:
Ligurian focaccia, in its classic version or withonions;
Barese focaccia: potato dough, topped with cherrytomatoes, super rich in flavor;
Recco Focaccia, super thin salty dough, stuffed withcreamy stracchino, melting in your mouth.
A fee of 100 DKK per session will be added to cover the cost of ingredients. This amount is settled directly with the instructor
