FOF København and the Copenhagen World Music Festival invite you to a highly topical debate on censorship and artistic freedom of expression, followed by a concert with Ramy Essam band Egypten & Oriental Mood with Fatma Zidan featuring Bilal Irshed.
In a unique debate format that starts off-stage among the audience and culminates with a panel debate, moderator and former Danish Broadcasting Company (DR) journalist Ole Reitove takes the audience on an intellectual and emotional journey where participants will experience what artistic freedom of expression, and the loss of it, means to the artist, to a nation and to the people.

Anne Louise Lundsgård
We are also proud to invite Anne Louise Lundsgård from the department of musicology at the University of Copenhagen to join the panel. She relates recent experiences from Egypt, where she studies how artistic freedom of expression is under assault from the authorities.
