Always wanted to learn how to sew but don’t know where to start? Join this one-day sewing course – designed for complete beginners.
The sewing machine is an amazing tool. In this course, you’ll learn all the essential basics – from threading the machine to becoming comfortable with its functions. We’ll cover how to guide fabric for neat, straight seams and how to troubleshoot common issues.
Once you feel more confident using the machine, you’ll practice on a variety of small projects of varying difficulty. You’ll leave the course with several completed items and the confidence to continue sewing on your own.
All basic materials are provided. You are also welcome to bring your own fabric.
Sewing machines will be available at the venue, but if you have your own, feel free to bring it – it’s a great opportunity to get familiar with your own machine.
Please note that the instructor may not be familiar with every make and model.
