Pilates for gravide

Gør noget godt for dig selv under din graviditet.

Pilates er et effektivt redskab til at styrke og skabe harmoni i både krop og sind. Træningen giver en god kropsfornemmelse og styrker hele din krop - herunder ryg, bækken og bækkenbund, som er særligt udsat igennem graviditeten. Det vil også hjælpe dig med at lindre de almindelige graviditetsgener og styrke dig fysik og mentalt til fødslen og tiden derefter.

Alle gravide kan være med - også selvom du ikke har trænet pilates før.

Undervisningen foregår på let forståeligt engelsk.

Undervisningserfaring: I am educated as a dance and pilates instructor, choreographer, performer and video artist. I have presented my productions and lectures in over 30 international festival and conferences in England, Finland, Turkey, Cyprus, Greece and USA. As mother of two, I teach BabyDance, Movement in Pregnancy, Pre & Post – Natal Pilates for seven consecutive years.
Since 2005, I have teached all age groups (children, teenagers, adults) contemporary dance and improvisation, choreography, performance and new media in dance institutes in both England and Greece, among them the Bognor Regis Community College and the Art College of Heraklion. In 2014, I founded the KINETICS Dance & Visual Art Center (Crete) and as director and educator promoted new art forms to the community through courses and various events.
I studied Dance and Visual Art at University of Brighton (2007). Awarded with a scholarship from the Onassis Foundation, I completed a MA in Performance/Dance Maker at the University of Chichester (2010) with a specialisation in choreography, interactive digital media, contemporary dance and somatic techniques. I am a certified BASI Pilates instructor (2015).
