Japanese noodles offer a flavorful journey in every bowl, where each slurp transports you to a world of taste.

You might be familiar with ramen as a popular Japanese dish, and perhaps you’re even a ramen enthusiast? But have you ever explored the wide array of noodles enjoyed throughout Japan? Japan offers many types of noodles, not just ramen, but also udon, soba and even Japanese-inspired pasta dishes.

At this course, you'll have the opportunity to learn how to prepare various Japanese noodles under the guidance of an experienced Japanese instructor. Some of the recipes you’ll try in this course are not commonly found in Aarhus.

  • acquire some traditional Japanese cooking techniques.
  • gain insight into the food culture and understand the deeply rooted manners in Japan.

Menu example:

  • Soumen noodle (Thin wheat noodles) served cold.
  • Japanese-style pasta dishes flavored with soy sauce.
  • Ramen soup noodle (a home-made version)
